The ‘Sales Expense’ settings module helps in defining charges that are generally paid in mandi business. Keeping a record of these is necessary as they play a crucial role in mandi accounting. These are recorded via doing any sale entry in ‘Quick Sale’ and ‘Daily Sale’ module. A commission agent using ChargeERP can make changes in the list by tick marking or untick the ‘sale expense’ list in the settings tab. They can also add to the list as per requirement on ChargeERP.

Let’s find out how commission agents can edit ‘Sale Expense’ list on ChargeERP.

  • First, log into your ChargeERP account. Once you log in, you will directly land upon the ‘Dashboard’ page. From the top left corner, click on the company name dropdown (A) and choose the company for which you want to edit ‘Sale Expense’ list.
  • Now, using the sidebar option on the left side, click on the ‘Settings’ tab (B).

  • On the ‘Settings’ page, you will see ‘Sale Expense’ (C) tab.
  • Now you will see the list of all ‘sale expense’ being borne by commission agent while doing mandi business.
  • You can click on the check box to tick or untick charges for ‘Quick Sale’ or ‘Daily Sale’ module.
  • To make changes in any charge, click on ‘three-dot’ menu (D).
  • You will see three options: Re-Order (E), Edit (F) and Inactive (G).

  • By clicking on ‘Re-Order’, commission agent can change the order in which the charge will be shown in ‘Quick Sale’ or ‘Daily Sale’ module.
  • By selecting ‘Edit’, commission agent can make changes to it. They can edit details in ‘Name’(H), ‘Account Selection’(I) and ‘Apply On’(J) sections.
  • By tapping on Inactive, commission agent can activate or deactivate any charge. When they inactivate any charge, it will not be shown and applied in ‘Quick Sale’ or ‘Daily Sale’ module.

  • To view list of inactive charges, click on ‘Turn off to show Inactive Items’ icon (K). To view the list of all the charges again, click on the same icon again.
  • To add a new charge, a commission agent can click on ‘Add New Other Charges’ button (L).

  • Here he will have to add details in ‘Name’, ‘Account Selection’ and ‘Apply On’ section and click on ‘Save’ button (M).

  • Click on ‘Reset’ button (N) to make the changes back to default settings.
  • Click on ‘Save’ button (O) to save the changes made to the ‘sale expense’ list.
