Add 'For Sale' entry on Charge ERP

The ‘Quick Sale’ page allows you to make sales entries under ‘Local’, ‘For Sale’ and ‘On Order’ tabs. Let’s find out how ‘For Sale’ entry is created on the ‘Quick Sale’ page of ChargeERP.

So let’s get started to know how a commission agent can add a ‘For Sale’ entry on the ‘Quick Sale’ page.

‘For Sale’ entry means that the item is to be sold in another mandi. Hence the cost is mentioned after the good is sold.

First step is to log in to your ChargeERP account. You will see the ‘dashboard’ in front of you. Click on the ‘company name’ dropdown (A) to choose the company in which you want to add ‘For Sale’ entry. After that click on ‘Quick Sale’ (B) on the left sidebar.

  • The ‘Quick Sale’ page has four tabs, namely ‘All’, ‘Local’, ‘For Sale’ and ‘On Order’. To add a new for sale entry, click on the ‘For Sale’ tab (C).
  • Now click on ‘New Sales’ button (D) at the right side of page. Now you will see a ‘Add Quick Sale’ form.

Fill in the details on the ‘Quick Sale’ form :

First fill the ‘Item Details’ section (E)

  • Chose the ‘Date’ on which you had sent the item to customer.
  • ‘Sale type’ will be automatically selected as ‘For Sale’.
  • Now, from the ‘Customer Name’ dropdown (F), select the customer account.
  • If you are not able to find the customer in the list, then click on ‘Add New’ option (G) to add details of the customer account.
  • This new account will also be visible on ‘Accounts’ page.

  • In the ‘Item Name’ dropdown (H) you will see the list of items.
  • If the item you are looking for is not on the list, then click on ‘Add New’ (I) and fill the new item details.
  • You will be able to see these new details in ‘Item’ page on ‘Masters’ page.

  • Enter the ‘Lot No’ (J) by selecting among all the available lots in the pop-up (K). The pop-up contains an inventory table automatically fetched from the ‘Arrivals’ page. If you don’t want a particular lot no, simply select ‘NA’ from the pop-up.

  • Now add ’Nug’, ‘Weight’, customer ‘Rate’ and select the right unit from the ‘Per’ dropdown.
  • Basis on the information you put, ‘Basic Amount’, ‘Expenses’ and ‘Net Amount’ will be automatically calculated.
  • You can also write ‘Basic Amount’ without entering customer rate by ticking ‘Net Rate’ box

Now you come to ‘Expense Detail’ section (L). This is an optional section. You may see few details here are pre-filled.

  • You may also change the information of the expenses.
  • If you send your goods in crate then choose the right ‘Crate Marka’ from the dropdown. You will automatically see the number of crates with you. Enter the number of crates given to your ‘Customer’
  • On the footer (M), you will see ‘Total Nug’, ‘Total Weight’, ‘Total Crate’, ‘Amount’, ‘Expenses’, and ‘Net Amount’.
  • Click on the ‘SAVE AND NEW’ button (N) to complete your ‘For Sale’ entry or to create a new one.

  • You will be able to see your for sales entry in the table under the ‘For Sale’ tab.
  • Using the ‘Search Here’ box (O), you can search for the sales entries of specific customer account.
  • ‘Select Date’ dropdown (P) will let you select the date range for which you want to see the sale entries in the table.
  • To filter out further, use the ‘Filter’ dropdown (Q). You can select among ‘Customer’, ‘Sale Type’, ‘Item’ and ‘Inventory’ filter options
  • The footer (R) for the ‘On Order’ tab shows ‘Total Sales’, ‘Basic Amount’, ‘Expenses’ and ‘Net Amount’.

How to Edit or Delete ‘For Sale’ entry?

  • At the end of every entry in ‘For Sale’ table, you will see ‘3 dot menu’ (S). You can click on that ‘3 dot menu’ to ‘Edit’ or ‘Delete’ the entry.
  • To get the ‘Customer Bill’, click on the ‘3 dot menu’ and select ‘Download Customer Bill’ (T) option.

  • To get the ‘Customer Bill’ over WhatsApp, click on yes on the ‘Confirmation Box’ (U).

You can also ‘Print’ (V) or ‘Download’ (W) the ‘Customer Bill’.
